Pie in the sky

After a very long meeting with H, I've decided to walk. He talked about my value, and how much they want to keep me, which was nice, but I need more. D is still working on something to try and keep me, but they will have to move quick.

H just doesn't get it, he talked about what might happen down the road etc. My point it I'm under market right now, make it right or I walk. Walk is the choice.


I'm fine with it, but I think it's bad business on their part.


If a consultant asked for 10K to save you a guaranteed $45 K in one year, and reduce logistical problems, and virtually assure no stock outages, you'd jump at it. But I offered basically the same thing yesterday, and they turned it down. So I will give the $45 K anyway as my final good will gesture.

So I doubt there will be any more updates on this topic. New gig is set for Aug 29th barring any offers I can't refuse.
